Heritage Photos: I'm sitting at home pondering on whether I should make a hunt or not on a place that I'm not familiar with a y'all for bow hunting and it's bucks only for the first 15 days. As I wait it out, I put on this hunting DVD called DNA. Thinking to myself maybe this will give me the edge I need to hunt this land....... Well it did. On the whole DVD there were 4 short hunts and that's all but each one gave a lesson. Give teachings of heritage, faith, god, scripture and traditions. First hunt was a successful bear hunt and the guy went for a huge black bear but ended up taking this beautiful blonde phase bear instead, next was a whitetail hunt where hank Parker jr missed a massive deer at 30 yards, next hunt will primos hunted elk and chased one for days with the elk staying miles away but it finally came in and he took it, the last hunt was a turkey hunt where the hunter and cameraman were on different levels of ground so they couldn't see the bird at the same time but waited and the bird showed and the hunter rushed the shot having to chase down the bird. Here's where the video gets good...... Each one of those hunts were life lessons on faith, god and patients. The bear hunt showed that no matter how bad you want something it may not be what god what's for you, the deer hunt shows that no matter what the situation is don't rush into it or you will miss what's truly yours, the elk hunt showed that with enough time effort and hard work things will play out, it's not out timing it's gods timing, and lastly the turkey hunt (my fav) in life no one is on the same eye level with anyone else but we all should strive to be on a greater level than the one we stepped up from. You're going to have challenges and obstacles in your path to blur your vision but you must take the time to focus and push through.
