Heritage Photos: It was funny as hell how a big construction company next to the Old HSBC Building brags about 'breaking barriers'. What could be those barriers? One thing's for sure, hard areas - such as this heritage district - and their cultural entirety seemed not to be fully understood by these self-proclaimed breakers, including many developers pretending to be stewards of goodwill and socio-economic progress. Breakers of cultural/heritage landscape, perhaps? Surreal anthropocentric/just/rightful capitalism at its finest. Also, let's not forget about urban mismanagement.They're everywhere. Where's the cultural sensitivity there?
