Muaro Jambi Temple Compounds Jambi's widest archaeological site. These temples are made of bricks, believed to be the Buddhist center of learnings in Srivijaya Kingdom. The well known Buddhist monk called I-Tshing been learned the way of Mahayana Buddha here before depart to India. Around 10 temples have been discovered and most of them reconstructed.
