Climbing to Chaturmukha Basadi, Karkala Karkala is a small town in coastal #Karnataka It has been an important Jain Religious Center for centuries. There is an statue of Bahubhali (similar to but smaller in stature than one at Shravanabelogola ) This situated on a small hillock and from here you get to see the beauty of the place as well as another important Jain shrine called Chaturmukha Basadi (four faced Jain temple). Chaturmukha basadi nestled among coconut groves on another small hillock at a distance seen from the hillock of Bahubhali.
