In some 2 800 metres in height, on the site of Lalibela in Ethiopia Eleven churches were dug in the basalt, cut in blocks of a single upholder. Those 11 churches were set up during the invasion of Arabic in 13th century to escape the Islamization. To go to the mass, the Coptic Christians took then tunnels subterranean, several kilometres long. #myafrica #ethiopia #lovemypeople #afrique #church #africantradition #myancestors #africa #stronglegacy #heritage #genius #africapride #kemetsoul #nubianheritage #nubians by lautisha
